  Abstract submissions

Only one abstract per author can be submitted unless in collaboration with other authors.

During the closing ceremony, the best presentations, posters and round tables that have also been selected to be published in the book will be granted a special mention. Certificates will be distributed at the closing ceremony of the congress. If a abstract belongs to several authors, certificates will be issued for each one of them.

uthors can opt for their abstracts' publication in the book of the congress, which will be sold during the event and in specialist bookstores later on. To that end, the corresponding form should be filled in after the works approval.

IMPORTANT: Under no circumstances will abstracts be accepted for publication that have not been previously and duly included in the official congress programme, either as oral presentation or poster.

The abstract must be 100 words in length and be submitted by the Online form.
The Scientific activities will begin at 9 a.m. on August 25th, 2013 in the rooms of the Panamericano Hotel.

 

Free communication sessions

Final abstracts should not exceed a 10-minute oral presentation. Abstract abstracts should be submitted through the form of Abstracts. Abstracts should be submitted on any subject relevant to the congress regardless of the title of the congress.

Oral presentations of the abstracts will take place at a date established by the organizing committee. When a abstract belongs to several authors, the oral presentation will be delivered by only one of them while questions on the abstract may be answered by any of the authors.

Round tables will be carried out as follows:

  • Round table sessions will last one hour.
  • Each round table will be made up of four abstracts of ten minutes each.
  • Each spokesperson will read out his abstract and, once all the abstracts have been presented, the audience may pose questions or comments for the remaining 20 minutes.

At the closing ceremony, the best presentations, posters and round tables that have also been selected to be published in the congress book will be granted a special mention. Certificates will be distributed at the closing ceremony of the congress. If a abstract belongs to several authors, certificates will be issued for each one of them.

Those who are interested in having their abstract reviewed to be published in the book should send their abstracts before the deadline for submissions and in accordance with the requirements (abstracts should be 6 pages long at most, including bibliography). (Send in appropriate form)

IMPORTANTE: May send only items that have previously been submitted and accepted for exhibition at this conference. (Send in appropriate form)

The book will be sold during the conference and then be sold in bookstores. The work will have its corresponding IBSN and will be officially recorded.

Posters

Posters should be presented on a poster board of 90 cm high and 120 cm wide and they should be readable from a distance of 1 meter.

IMPORTANT: Prizes will be awarded for the best posters. Posters will be hung throughout the conference. They should be hung by the authors on rigid panels that will be provided by the conference organizers.

The day and time of exposure of the posters will be set by the congress.
The jury will visit the posters during the course of the conference without a predetermined schedule.

We recommend placing an envelope or a notebook to which people can leave notes, questions, comments or cards for those interested to contact the authors.

Abstracts submission

 

Round table

Round tables should be made up of three speakers and one chairperson. The chairperson may be one of the speakers or some other person. The three speakers will be selected by the round table organizer. All participants must be registered for the congress. The round table discussion should be coherently organized and should last 60 minutes. Make sure that 20 minutes are allotted for the question and answer session.

Issues raised at the round table discussion may not necessarily be connected to those of the congress.
Round table sessions will be held at time and date to be set by the organizing committee.

Workshops should be made up of three participants and one coordinator. The coordinator may be one of the participants or some other person. All participants must be registered for the congress. Workshops should last one hour at most
